Turn Island is a dramatically diverse 82 acre substantial private island estate with 3km of shoreline located on the east end of Johnstone Strait where Johnstone Strait, Discovery Passage and Nodales Channel converge. A spectacular coastal setting! The shoreline ranges from gentle slopes down to walk-on beachfront to sheer granite bluffs, with a well-protected bay providing deep water moorage year round.

The residence is a 3 bedroom, two and a half bathroom beautiful timber-frame home with vaulted ceilings. The timber is attractive second growth mixed grain Douglas fir of highest quality fit and finish completed with high appliances and mechanical systems. Cedar siding and shingles, windows and exterior doors are pre-finished red cedar. The home provides 2200 sq. ft. of comfortable living space leading out to an expansive, Alaskan yellow cedar cantilevered oceanfront deck partially covered by the large prow of this beautiful home. Substantial infrastructure provides comfortable and relatively maintenance free enjoyment.

The primary power source is a 27 kw diesel generator charging a bank of batteries, inverted into 110 volt service. All service lines on the property are buried. Diesel and propane are contained in an environmentally safe system. The drilled well produces 4 gallons of water per minute and the water is filtered and illuminated using UV. There is an approved septic system in place as well as a propane-fired forced air furnace. The fully licensed and approved moorage installation is 14ft x 80ft with 6ft wide aluminum ramp which is capable of handling ATVs or side-by-side vehicles. There is also an 1800sq. ft. shop in a Quonset building fully outfitted with power and radiant heat.
