Isla Macías Retreat is a brand new hospitality and tourism concept near Puerto Tranquilo in the Aysén Region, Chile. Our guests can privately and exclusively enjoy the biggest island of the Lago General Carrera, second biggest Lake of South America.

The island has a surface of 250 hectares and includes seven beaches, forests made of arayans, coigues and Antarctic beeches, two peaks at 1.000 mamsl and exclusive trekking tracks. Its privileged location near Puerto Tranquilo permits a smooth access and connection to all the highlights of the area such as the Marble Caves, the Exploradores Glacier, the Leones Glacier, Puerto Cristal and the San Rafael Lagoon.

In order to fully appreciate the island, we have built an up to 10 people cabin with native wood and with all the commodities and services needed to enjoy the attractiveness of your surroundings in the typical warm and cozy Patagonian atmosphere. Among our services, we include a bilingual host that will attend to our guests during their stay as well as housekeeping service. The kitchen is fully equipped for the use of our guests.

We are open all-year round in order to allow our guests experience the different seasons and their specific charms.
