The buildings on the island are still under construction but many are nearing completion. The island is powered fully by massive solar arrays in various locations around the island. There are plans in place for an amazing main house on the western tip of the island that is ready to be built by the new owner of the island.
Bird Cay is well protected on all sides by neighbouring islands and sand banks. Chub Cay lies just west of Bird Cay and offers an excellent marina, a private resort club, restaurants, and a 5,000 foot airstrip with regular and chartered flights to Nassau.
