Accommodations
The Stone House: The only house on Spruce Island, available for rent by the week in the summer and for shorter periods in the off-season. It can accommodate more than 18 people with prior arrangement. The property consists of two separate buildings:
Main House: A large open room with cathedral ceilings, a huge fireplace, and a well-equipped kitchen. It includes one bedroom, a swing hanging from the timbers, and a “crow's nest” on the roof for spectacular views of the surrounding islands. On rainy days and at night, guests can watch movies on the big screen and listen to surround sound music.
Guest House: Contains six bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Electricity is supplied by wind and solar power, supported by backup generators. Water is supplied from wells and a large rainwater cistern.

Off-the-Grid Living: The property is completely off the grid, but WiFi is available through HughesNet satellite connection, and cell phone service is available.
Activities:
Kayaks and rowboats are provided
Outboard motor boats can be rented
Dress up as pirates and entertain children (pirate dress provided)
Enjoy campfires on the shore
Drive golf balls into the ocean and collect them at low tide
Swim in a freshwater quarry on nearby Green Island, owned by Maine Coast Heritage Trust
Play horseshoes, capture the flag, badminton, and ping pong
Charter the amphibious Sealegs to take you island hopping
Stargaze and watch wildlife such as bald eagles and ospreys

Transportation
To and From the Island: Transportation is provided free on the first and last days, up to three round trips each of those days.
Activities: Intra-island or inter-island capture-the-flag, campfires on the beach, exploring nearby small islands, and sleeping in a tent near the shore. Guests can gaze into the heavens, watch satellites, and fall asleep to the gentle sounds of waves and wind.
