Upon arrival, you will truly understand "the sound of silence". It is the only resort on the 800 acre private island of Pine Cay, a pristine, natural haven with no automobiles and very limited development. It's a world away, yet only a 15 minute journey by boat from the bustle of Providenciales.
The accommodations at The Meridian Club are generous and comfortable, but they do not include televisions, radios or telephones. You are left to enjoy the soothing trade winds, the incredible beach, the outstanding cuisine that is included during your stay, and of course the island’s rare natural beauty.

The Meridian Club redefines “barefoot luxury” and offers visitors a romantic hideaway experience. It's for guests who want to experience a true private island vacation and leave their day-to-day life behind. Technology is replaced by nature, prepared foods by divine culinary achievements, and water activities reign over anything else.
Guests are taken by taxi from the airport on Providenciales to a marina, and then transported by water shuttle to Pine Cay, a secluded island. With a unique airport, interesting history, and a location off the 72nd meridian, guests can enjoy privacy, tranquility, and the company of a few others with the same passion at a small resort in the Turks and Caicos. They come away with new friendships created with other guests and our friendly staff...usually after drive-in movie night on golf carts.
Aside from the perfect escape for couples, the resort is also an ideal venue for a private wedding or any other occasion suitable to rent the entire island, allowing for up to 80 guests to enjoy the facilities including home rentals.

The Meridian Club Bistro
Ocean view dining, candlelight dinners, poolside barbecues, deserted island picnics, dining by your private beach - all will become fond memories of your stay and are included in your room rate. Enjoy freshly caught fish from the abundant surrounding waters and lobster is included in one of the served menus. Our health-focused menu is also available with vegetarian options.
You can begin your morning with freshly brewed coffee, fresh-baked pastries and breakfast on your screened porch, or join other guests for breakfast at outdoor tables on the pool terrace. Later, slide out of the pool for a light buffet lunch. For the more adventurous, picnic lunches can be prepared upon request.
After a sail or a stroll on the beach of our private island resort, there's afternoon tea and cookies. Drinks are available throughout the day at our downstairs bar. Relax in a poolside lounge chair and cool off with one of Floyd's special preparations or steer a straighter course with a tall cold glass of iced tea or soda. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres are served in the upstairs bar between 6 and 7:30pm. Catch the sunset, and possibly a "green flash" from our veranda.
Wednesday evening is "Native Night" when guests are treated to a poolside barbecue and buffet featuring an abundance of West Indian specialties as well as some more traditional fare. On most Saturday nights, you will enjoy another barbecue and buffet with steak, fish, and other specialties followed by a "Jump Up" with Caribbean music. Dancing can be either a personal or spectator sport.
Informality is our Trademark
Dress at The Meridian Club is always casual and shoes are optional, even at dinner. Bathing suits with cover-ups or sport clothes are the norm at lunch. Informal summer evening clothes for ladies, and sport shirts, slacks and even shorts for men, are perfect for dinner. We have had only one or two necktie sightings on Pine Cay in the last ten years.

Each one of our 13 units looks out to a breathtaking two-mile beach in front of our secluded island getaway. All are spacious and suite-like, with a large bedroom and separate lounging alcove, leading into screened-in porches overlooking the sea. The breeze from ceiling fans rotating overhead joins the gentle trade winds flowing through large windows and patio doors.
Furnished in tropical décor, the rooms are comfortable, bright and attractive. Each one contains one king or two twin beds, lots of pillows, and a small library of books for your reading pleasure. The "suite style" layout includes a large bathroom with two lavatory areas, a shower, and a dressing area with plenty of shelves for personal items and amenities such as a mini-fridge, coffee pot for fixing tea and coffee - your own private island vacation.
Premium Beachfront Rooms have air condititioning, are larger, adjoin and have Keurig machines.
The screened-in porch - with its table, chairs and ever-changing sea views - is the perfect place for breakfast or early morning coffee. Just beyond, the outdoor patio has an outdoor shower enclosed with bamboo walls. With each room having its own private thatched hut in front for reading or evening cocktails, guests can enjoy an even closer view of the sea.

Activities on Pine Cay
Pine Cay is fast becoming one of the only places in the Caribbean where you can get completely away from the pressures of modern life, just kick back with a good book under a shaded tiki and hear nothing but waves rolling up on the beach.
No crowds, automobile traffic, television, ringing telephones or other irritating features of the fast-paced lives we all lead back home. You won’t find parasailers, jet skis or vendors hawking goods on the beach. Some of our guests have been coming to The Meridian Club for over 20 years just to enjoy the serenity we offer while they relax and unwind at a private beach cottage. We will never change our style just to be like all the other resorts.
We realize, however, that some guests like to integrate a little, or even a lot, more recreational activity into their vacations. For those people, there are a surprisingly diverse range of the Turks and Caicos activities available to choose from without disturbing those who want their privacy and quietude.

The Meridian Club is not a typical Caribbean fishing destination, because we don’t cater primarily to fishermen. However, fishing around our private cay is superb and can be a wonderful diversion for a fisherman with a non-fishing spouse or for couples who wish to spend some time with a rod and reel on their Caribbean vacation.
Located southeast of the Bahamas, the Turks and Caicos is a beautiful string of islands, islets and cays (Pine Cay, our private island resort, is one of them) floating right on the border between the Caribbean Sea and the deep water of the Atlantic Ocean.
Bonefish, Wahoo, Tuna, Mahi Mahi and more call the nearby ocean home.
Some of our happiest guests are those who come back from a fishing trip with a tale to tell fellow guests at cocktail hour or over dinner, whether it be about the "big one that got away", or spotting a dolphin, eagle ray or a migrating Humpback Whale. Guests rave about their first encounter with the elusive bonefish, the "grey ghost" of the Caribbean.
The Club will clean and cook any edible fish that a guest brings back for their dinner.
Deep Water Fishing, just 5-10 minutes from our Caribbean island resort, will fast become your favorite activity. No matter your luck fishing, the boat ride alone can often be worth the trip.
