Puduguapi Island is located at the entrance to the majestic Chilean Patagonia, at the beginning of the Carretera Austral, specifically in the commune of Chaitén, Los Lagos Region, Chile. This beautiful island has its own bay, direct access to the sea, and at the sametime, is bordered by the great Yelcho River with abundant fresh waters.

The surface of this Island is covered by a lush native forest, among which we find mañios, myrtle trees, lumas, tepú, coihues, cinnamon trees, tepa, hazelnut trees, among others, turning this property into a green lung, essential for planet Earth.

From its surface you can see the Chaitén Volcano and the Concorvado Volcano.

The topography of the Island is varied, rising from the rough coast with the plain of the Yelcho River reaching a maximum elevation of approximately 500 meters above sea level. On its plain we can find natural bays and sands that make up a private beach.

The privileged location of this island makes it a unique place; To the east, the sublime Andes Mountain Range, the longest on our planet, acts as a climatic screen and natural insulator for the entire Island. To the west, the Big Island of Chiloé protects it from the Pacific Ocean.

Taking into consideration the significant advance of climate change, this island becomes a privileged refuge, distancing itself from extreme climatic events, maintaining a natural andunsurpassed micro climate.

The flora and fauna of this island is intact, it is a sanctuary of natural preservation, adventure and biodiversity. The fresh waters of the Yelcho River and the Pacific Ocean surround this island.

To access the island, it is achieved in three ways:

1. By land, through the Carretera Austral route 7 until you reach Chaitén Viejo, and then use nautical transportation.

2. By air, from the airport by commercial plane to the city of Puerto Montt, from there a small plane to the Chaitén airfield, then nautical transportation is used for approximately20 minutes.

3. Air route by helicopter, landing directly on the flat part of the island.

Currently in this area there is not much tourist activity.  Therefore, the possibility of carrying out an attractive project mainly to receive tourists from all over the world - lovers of fishing, observatories, lovers of nature and various sports, would not only be an investment, it would also contribute to the people, the area, the planet and the quality of life.

Chaitén is a commune in the southern part of Chile, located in the province of Palena, Los Lagos Region. It limits to the North with the commune of Hualaihué, to the West with the Gulf of Ancud and the Gulf of Corcovado, to the East with the communes of Futaleufú and Palena, and to the South with the Aysén Region of General Carlos Ibáñez del Campo.

It is wonderful to think that there exists somewhere in the world, a little piece of paradise where dreams come true. This island, inserted in the majestic Patagonia, with its intact flora and fauna, make this a place a unique space, a refuge that embraces the buyer and their future generations, giving the opportunity to preserve an ecological wonder, contributing to the environment meaningfully and consciously.
